Cauliflower Curry

1 Onion finely chopped

30ml oil

1 tsp crushed garlic

1 tsp mustard seeds

1 tsp cumin seeds

½ tsp turmeric

1 small chilli – chopped

8-10 curry leaves

2 Tbsp lemon juice

1-2 tsp brown sugar

2 tbsp tomato paste

1 large cauliflower, cut into florets

250ml coconut cream

Salt and Pepper



Fry onions in the oil until soft, add garlic and all spices including the curry leaves and fry for a further 2 minutes

Add lemon juice, sugar and tomatoes, cook until it all until it thickens slightly

Add Cauliflower and cook until soft.

Add coconut cream, heat until hot

Serve with Basmati rice
